What to Expect
Take a day out and uncover the cultural, historical, and artistic beauty of Florence. Known as the birthplace of Italian renaissance and opera, it's easy to get swept up in the romance of Florence.
Begin the day with a peaceful drive to the Piazzale Michelangelo, where the whole of Florence appears in a panoramic sweep.
From here you will make your way into the heart of the city to begin you walking tour. Starting in the main square you will be guided around the exceptional Florence Cathedral, one of the most visited landmarks in Europe and known for its magnificent dome, which sits proudly overlooking the city. Next up you will gain priority admission to the Accademia Gallery, where you can find the masterpiece of Michelangelo’s David.
Following a well deserved lunch, you will escape to the picturesque town of Fiesole, situated in the hills overlooking Florence and the Arno Valley. Then head back to Florence to visit the Franciscan Church of Santa Croce and Piazza Signoria. Your tour will end with skip-the-line admission to the world-renowned Uffizi Gallery, where you can admire the works of Botticelli, Michelangelo, and Leonardo da Vinci.

The Accademia Gallery is closed on Mondays, and therefore will be replaced with a visit to the Bargello Museum or Villa Medici. The Uffizi is also closed on Mondays, in which case it will be replaced with a visit to the Palazzo Vecchio Museum.
