Discover the birthplace of the Renaissance on a 1.5-hour walking tour of Florence city center, and learn the secrets from more than 2,000 years of history. Your guide will tell you about the Roman origins of the “Cradle of the Renaissance,” and take you to a 15th century palace. Marvel at the covered Ponte Vecchio from the courtyard of the Uffizi Museum. Admire Brunelleschi’s dome on the Duomo, and the Baptistery's golden “Gates of Paradise.”
After a lunch of pizza or pasta, head to the Chianti wine lands and learn the story of Tuscany’s most famous wine region. The scenic 5-hour tour takes in some of the most characteristic villages and hill top castles.
Drive over gently rolling hills of ancient vineyards and cypress trees en route to the spectacular fortress of Monteriggioni, mentioned in Dante's “Divine Comedy.” Explore the best preserved city walls in all Italy.
