Cook traditional Tuscan dishes on a farm surrounded by the vineyards where the famous Chianti wine is produced. The ingredients that you will use are entirely home-made like wine, eggs, olive oil, honey and vegetables.
What to Expect
Cook traditional Tuscan dishes, in a farm on the Chianti hillside, using homemade ingredients like eggs, olive oil, wine, honey and vegetables. You will prepare tagliatelle, potato-based ravioli which are ideal for vegetarians, gnocchi with spinach and boar (wild pig) meat with sauce.
Meet at the main train station in Florence where your guide will pick you up by car. You will then begin the trip to the farm, seeing characteristic cypresses, vineyards and olive groves.
Then proceed towards the farm, where you will have a prosecco appetizer and then start preparing the fresh pasta, the boar (wild pig) based second course and tiramisu for dessert, together. At the end, sit down to enjoy the specialities you have prepared together.
On demand, you can visit a small, family owned wine cellar, where bio wine is produced and there will be the possibility to taste these wines. Another option is a visit to the best and biggest wine cellar (factory) where Chianti wine is produced. Alternatively, there is the possibility of a guided night-time walk trough Florence, accompanied by your own guide.
