Valley of Fire Guided Hiking Tour from Las Vegas
- Transportation included
- Duration options: 4 - 6 hours
This is an excellent activity if you are looking for outdoor things to do. I'm glad we took the early morning hike (6:00am) because we beat the heat and we had the trails mostly to ourselves. Mason was an excellent guide, as he explained about the plants and critters we encountered a long the way and also made sure that our first ever hike was appropriate to our abilities. We were able to appreciate the beauty of multicolored rocks and the Fire Wave and view the Petroglyphs in addition to taking the hike to Mouse's tank in about 3.5 hours. We will definitely take another hike with Mason the next time we visit Vegas!
It was very nice experience! I was interested in learning more about the cultural and historical stuffs, so I called LoveHike and got in touch with Jacob, asking if the tour guide would briefly talk about some cultural and historical knowledge about Valley of Fire during the hiking tour. Jacob specifically arranged Sarah as my tour guide, who majored in geography, and Sarah explained a lot of interesting cultural and historical information to me during the trip!!! This is definitely one of the best tours I've ever had!!! Nice view at the Valley of Fire as well!
I selected the intense level hike in the Valley of Fire - the Fire Wave Trail. Our guide Sarah made the trip! She was extremely knowledgeable and fun to hike with while accommodating all those in my group who are difficult to please. I would recommend this tour company - fun for all ages with differing hiking expertise. This is my second trip with this company and they did not disappoint! They were on time, communicative throughout the entire process, and professional.
The hike was absolutely amazing!!!! Way better than I ever expected. Our guide Antonio was awesome! Very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and truly made it a great experience for the whole group. He also took tones of photos of us so we could truly focus on the hike and the views in the moment. I highly recommend this hike and our guide. Just make sure you have good grips on your shoes, the rocks are quit slippery.
Tour was fabulous. Blake gave us lots of cool historical details and was very laid back and pleasant. The hiking was good exercise but not strenuous and the sandstone in the valley was breathtaking. Saw bighorn sheep who seemed to enjoy tourists. Would highly recommend this excursion.
