What to Expect
Inaugurated in 1974, the Dalí Museum is located in Figueres, hometown of artist Salvador Dalí (1904-1989). An old local theater was turned into a museum that hosts artwork from all of Dalí’s creative stages from his first surrealist creations to his last years.

You and your guide will travel from Barcelona to Figueres by high-speed train, with the trip taking less than 1 hour. Upon arrival, you'll go from the train station to the city center by bus. Then take a walk through the old town of Figueres to the Dalí Museum and Theater.

Inside this magnificent museum you'll enjoy a guided visit for about 1.5 hours. The tour also includes a visit to Dali's jewelry museum, featuring incredible pieces from the artist's time as a jeweler designer.

After the tour of the museum, walk through some of the main streets of Figueres' charming old town on the way to a restaurant where you'll enjoy a delicious lunch featuring local Catalan specialties.

The region's cuisine is very rich, combining seafood from the Mediterranean coast and traditional inland recipes. Before enjoying your authentic and delicious lunch, your guide will tell you the story behind some of the most impressive buildings showing different architectural styles along the city's main avenue, La Rambla.

After exploring Dalí's masterpieces and enjoying this delicious meal, board the high-speed train back towards Barcelona.
