  • Airlie Beach: 2-Hour Sunset Cruise with Sparkling Wine

    2. Airlie Beach: 2-Hour Sunset Cruise with Sparkling Wine

Depart from the Coral Sea Marina in the Northern Village, which is only a short walk from the main street of Airlie Beach. You will cruise around Pioneer Bay and then get up close to many of the points of interest along the Airlie Beach coastline. If you are lucky, you will be able to spot turtles on the way, and on Wednesdays you can see the locals on their weekly yacht race. Watch a picture-perfect sunset and observe Airlie start to light up at dusk, whilst enjoying a glass of bubbly.  The Sundowner is a fully covered purpose-built catamaran designed for socializing. Unlike a yacht, it has a flat surface and no trip hazards. There is ample room to move, and high heels are welcome. Plenty of seating is available on board, and every seat has a great view of the Ocean.

It was such a beautiful end to our week! The views are worth it, hosts are fantastic! There's space at the back of you want some quiet but even surrounded by a hens and few big groups which felt like a party boat I still was able to enjoy some peace and enjoy the atmosphere and take everything in. Definitely book it was so great and just a wonderful experience!!!! 5 stars!!!!

  • Cairns: Guided Twilight Tour of the Aquarium with Dinner

    3. Cairns: Guided Twilight Tour of the Aquarium with Dinner

Witness the setting of the sun on Tropical North Queensland’s mountain ranges and experience how steamy rainforests and shallow reef lagoons begin to stir with life. Reptiles, Amphibians, Insects, and nocturnal fish sense the onset of dusk and emerge from their day time lairs.  Get an insight into the unique changes of the region’s nocturnal creatures as they move in the shadows.  Complete your evening at Dundee’s Restaurant with a perfectly matched dining experience while you enjoy a stunning sea life backdrop.

Cameron was very professional & enthusiastic when showing us through the museum.Very knowledgeable about the animals on display and was able to answer all my daughters questions about the construction of the aquarium. Interested to know if the clownfish eggs hatched and if there was survivors??? Dundees served a lovely meal and Thomas, including other servers we encountered on the night were all attentive and friendly. Only downside was probably our steaks weren’t cooked to our satisfaction. This was mentioned on the night and not something that could possibly be rectified once the steak is half eaten (only to find the middle raw). Thank you for a wonderful evening.
