Falkland

Our guide Alistair was fantastic and the day could not have been better. Alistair drove us right up to all the castles and spoke very informatively about Outlander and Scottish history during the bus ride. What is worth knowing is that entrance to the castles (3 pcs) is not included in the price but can be bought at the bus company's cash desk with a small discount, however we only chose to buy to Midhope Castle to be able to get closer to the environment. But for us, the environment around the castle was enough, it was still beautiful. 2 places are public (without admission) so you got a lot of Outlander anyway. Alistair helped us pose as Jaime Fraser looking out the window in Falkland, it was fun!
