There was only one issue: not enough time. I could spend days there. One feature I particularly enjoyed was many of the mechanical displays which you come across after entering had little to no didactic content; they were literally there for you to just explore. I also enjoyed how beautifully built some of the older machines were, from hard wood and iron. The areas were well organized into engaging the senses, and the staff were helpful. Of course, as you go deeper, the educational aspect is absolutely there. Great location, too. Loved it.

The tour was incredible. Our guide, Eric, asked the group if there was anything they wanted to see and visit and made sure those were included on the trip round the city in addition to the planned itinerary. He was very knowledgeable about San Francisco and made some excellent suggestions for lunch. The blankets in the vehicle were especially welcome as it was a windy and foggy day.

Robert was a blast! So much knowledge told in a fun way. Lots of tips for the area and made the tour really fun. Really worth doing the tour! We went on to Alcotraz afterwards and it was great as well, so much history really interesting to see and the rangers are all great over there too. Thanks to Robert again for a great tour!

Great trip it went to all the key points and the buses run frequently! Had a lovely day out

Lots of fun. Might be too small if you are a bigger person.
