  • Elephant Sanctuary & Kanchanaburi Highlights Private Tour

    1. Elephant Sanctuary & Kanchanaburi Highlights Private Tour

This full-day private tour begins with a pick-up at your hotel and a drive to ElephantsWorld. Learn about this sanctuary for old and rescued elephants, who will spend their remaining years well cared for in a natural environment. Help care for the animals by feeding them, gathering food and bathing them. Around noon, enjoy a buffet lunch before heading out to see the major attractions of Kanchanaburi. Visit the Bridge on the River Kwai, which is part of the infamous Death Railway, built by prisoners during World War II. Continue your tour with a stop at the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, the final resting place of 6,982 allied prisoners who died during the construction of the railway.

Pickup was very smooth and our driver was incredibly nice. He brought cold waters in a cooler and got us snacks along the way. The elephant sanctuary was amazing. The elephants seem very well taken care of and it was an unforgettable experience. Definitely short and sweet, but you get to do all of the good stuff. The WWII bridge and cemetery were a nice treat too with lots of shopping and a museum nearby. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip, well worth the price.

What people are saying about ElephantsWorld

One of my greatest experiences ever! To travel half way around the world and be able to bond with a beautiful elephant extended family herd-- lovingly cared for by this sanctuary and be part of giving elephants love and care was remarkable and an eye opener to these magnificent, human like creatures. Anyone who can get there- should! And the program, transportation, people were superb. Enlightenment and unusually wonderful vibe. Literally, the best. Thank you. I posted over 100 photos and videos

A magical day from our arrival. We gave food to the elephants, we prepared their meal for them, we washed them in the river. We learn a lot about the lives of elephants and we see that they are happy. Everything was great. I recommend 200%. The excellent midday meal. Lots of choices and a snack at the end of the day. The Mahouts are all very nice. And a special mention for our CHANG guide. Anyway, go for it !!!

We went during slow season, early December, it was fantastic. However, we did not go to see any of the Kanchanaburi highlights Which is supposed to be included.

The best experience ever. Absolutely recommendable you never experience anything like this !!!
