Żelazowa Wola

Our tour guide and driver for our 4-hour private tour of Chopin in Warsaw was George. He was both informative and resourceful for our entire tour. For example, he knew that the regular outdoor Chopin concerts had all ended for the season (we took our tour with him on Sept. 15), so, he made sure that we got seating for the Sunday afternoon concert by a professional pianist at the birthplace in Zelazowa Wola. We got to hear a 1st-rate, all-Chopin concert played on a piano within the home where Chopin lived with his family before moving to Warsaw. My wife and I sat just outside the window of his home, and it was just as if we were overhearing Chopin himself playing a medley of his greatest masterpieces. Bravo! Thank you, again, George.
