El Lago Verde, El Golfo: Tours & Tickets
What people are saying about El Lago Verde, El Golfo
José was an excellent host, both entertaining and knowledgeable. He arrived at exactly the time he suggested and then provided us with water and light snacks prior to the walk. Having advised us to bring wet weather clothing (which we didn't), he then handed us ponchos (which we needed). He walked at the pace of the group, wandering back and forth between the tortoises and the hares. He also incorporated plenty of stops en route to explain the history of certain plants, activities and landmarks. Finally, we ended up at Bodega Rubicon winery, sampling a few od the excellent Lanzarote wines, which we never even knew existed prior to this excursion. The entire 5 hour walk was well worth the money and is highly recommended.
This was a very good tour although there could be some improvements. There wasn't enough time given at the Volcano tour so we could visit the souvenir shop which was a shame. The vineyard stop was also too short, it would have been nice to pay a few extra euros to enjoy some proper wine tasting. The Aloe Vera museum is free to get in to anyway and it felt like you had to buy something when there. We really enjoyed the ferry trip to and from Lanzarote.
The tour was excellent, great tour guide & driver, informative, lots of variety. one thing I would check is that they tell you to wait at a specific bus stop, that wasn't in our instructions, it would also help if they described the bus in some way as there are so many, it would just ease the stress.
Great day trip if you’re not sure what to see or do out of all the options on the island. Probably perfect for any first time visitors. Saw such a variety, lovely guide with great language skills and personality!
It was an amazing tour. The driver was excellent. He provided lots information on various places, their history and even some stories. It was indeed a great tour.
