After being picked up from your accommodation, you'll begin a scenic journey complete with a private car and local guide. You'll be presented with a breathtaking landscape of mountains, spectacular waterfalls, and blooming fruit gardens, during a full-day tour along Norway's second-longest fjord. Travel through pretty villages such as Norheimsund, Øystese, and Eidfjord, and admire panoramic views over the serene Hardangerfjord. At the Fossli Hotel viewpoint there is also an amazing view to the Måbødal Valley and Vøringsfoss Waterfall, which has a total height of 182 meters.

Departure is at the bus station in Bergen at the bus stop P. One suitcase and one piece of hand luggage can be taken per person. The first stop will be after about an hour and a half at Steinsdalsfossen waterfall, which has a height of about 50 meters. Take a walk right behind the falling water without getting wet and enjoy the time to visit the cozy café and souvenir store. We then continue in the direction of Norheimsund. From there on, the Hardanger Fjord will be on our right all the time, until we enter the Vallavik tunnel after about 50 minutes and then cross the Hardanger bridge. This is a 55-meter-tall, 1,380-meter-long engineering feat that was the longest bridge in Norway and the 10th-longest in the world when it opened. We now have the Eidfjord on our left and after about 10 minutes we drive through the village of the same name. After about another 25 minutes we reach the Vøringfossen waterfall, a breathtaking natural wonder with a total drop of 182 meters. Spend around 30 minutes at the waterfall, admiring its beauty and the surrounding landscapes. Use this time to visit the cozy cafe in the Fossli Hotel too. After a few minutes' drive, we reach the Hardangevidda plateau, home to the largest reindeer population in Europe and is above the tree line. The highest point of Hardangevidda is around 1500 meters above sea level, and some of the last snow does not thaw here until August. The pure travel time from here to the station in Geilo is only about one hour and 15 minutes. Depending on the weather and time, we will make a photo stop on the way. We will then stop directly at the train station in Geilo. From here you can continue your journey by train. It's a wonderful train journey and, depending on the connection, it takes between four and five hours to arrive directly in the center of Oslo at Central Station. Have fun in this exciting city.
