After optional lunch and a wine tasting in the valley of Szépasszony-völgy, continue to Egerszalók at the foothills of the Bükk. Our trip to Eger with wine tasting was excellent. We took a drive to the pretty village of Eger and explored the village and castle. After exploring we were taken for some wine tasting at Nimrod Kovak winery. We tasted 5-6 wines which were all outstanding. We were greeted warmly by the sommelier of the winery who was very informative and happy to ask all of our questions. Lastly we visited a spa in the nearby village of Egerszalok and took a relaxing dip in the thermal pools. Our guide Tom was very friendly and informative.
