Full description

On this incredible tour, we explore the beautiful Scottish Highlands seeing castles, lochs, sculptures and perhaps some ‘Hairy Coos’ along the way. Departing the historic Royal Mile on an air-conditioned bus (16-34 seats) we head towards the iconic Kelpies, where you can take a close up look at these magnificent sculptures. We make our way towards Balloch, situated to the south of Loch Lomond’s Bonnie Banks. Here you can explore and take an optional hour-long boat cruise on the loch. Departing Loch Lomond we head towards the quaint village of Aberfoyle before exploring the picturesque Duke's Pass. Passing through Callander we make our way to Stirling where you can either take a stroll around the city centre or visit the historic Stirling Castle. Heading back we stop to catch a glimpse of the famous 3 bridges that span the River Forth before returning to Edinburgh *Boat cruise and entry to Stirling Castle are paid for on the day and are not included in the price of the tour.

We meet outside Heritage of Scotland, 459-461 Lawnmarket, EH1 2NT. Check-in 8:15 AM, BUS DEPARTS 8:30 AM SHARP. • We cannot wait for passengers arriving late, refunds are not applicable for missed tours. • Our buses do not have toilets onboard. Public restrooms closed near the meeting point, please plan accordingly. • If arriving to the departure point by taxi or local bus please ensure that you leave enough time to account for potential delays on the route.

Know before you go

  • For safety/insurance reasons, children under 7 are not allowed on tour. You will need to provide a photographic ID for proof of age. We are unable to make any exceptions.
  • We do not allow groups over 8 passengers, and ask that group bookings are made as a private tour.
  • Optional extras are not included in ticket price and can be purchased on the day of the tour:
  • Loch Lomond boat cruise
  • Stirling Castle
  • We are unable to wait for passengers arriving late, refunds are not applicable for missed tours. When using public transport or a taxi to the departure point, please allow extra time for possible delays
  • The buses do not have toilets onboard.
  • You are welcome to bring a small bag onboard the bus. While food will be available at multiple stops, bringing drinks and/or snacks onboard may help to keep you comfortable during the tour.
  • The arrival time to Edinburgh is an estimate. Please allow a minimum of 2 hours past planned arrival time for any onward travel in case of delays.
