Marcus was great! He made sure to stop at certain points (not only for views but for a break). It was a long hike up but he made it as easy as possible. The sunrise was not that dramatic but as expected for Scotland.

Weather wasn’t great so we didn’t get to see the sun, but the guide was very friendly and told some good stories overall a very good hike, nice views and the guide made sure that you were safe throughout!

Watch the sun disappear below the horizon as you hike to the summit of Arthur's Seat, accompanied by an experienced tour guide. After meeting your guide at the end of the Royal Mile an hour before sunset, enjoy a scenic route through Holyrood Park, immersing yourselves in nature as you ascend the hill. Marvel at the constantly changing sky, with its colors becoming more dramatic as you walk up the hill. Arthur's Seat is right in the middle of the city, so when you reach the top, you are rewarded with stunning views of Edinburgh. On a clear day, you can see far in all directions, with some of Scotland's high mountains visible on the horizon. At the summit, enjoy the panoramic views and take memorable photos before heading back down.   • We will be descending from the summit after sunset, so expect it to be dark (head torches will be provided)
  • The weather in Scotland can be unpredictable, so you are required to wear appropriate walking shoes or boots and bring a waterproof/windproof coat. There is always a chance that it will be cold, windy, and wet
  • The hike will go ahead even if it's cloudy or raining
  • Please bring your own snacks and water since there are no cafes or shops on the route
  • There are no toilets anywhere on this hike, so please arrive prepared
