Discover Edinburgh’s historical, cultural, and architectural heritage on a small and intimate walking tour guided by one of the most knowledgeable locals possible. Stuart or Richard Usher, of Scotland's famous and historic House of Usher, will guide you through this beautiful city himself. You’ll see many of the city’s highlights, including Usher Hall and Edinburgh Castle. You’ll walk along the Royal Mile, tour the interior of St. Giles Cathedral, and visit several of Edinburgh's famous landmarks. Mr. Usher, your guide, has an extensive knowledge of Edinburgh's history and architecture and the many famous people that the city has produced over the centuries. He will share his knowledge of Edinburgh with you in an informative, personable, and enjoyable manner. Have no fear, as it won't all be serious stuff! He'll also show you the Mound, and take you on a tour of the National Galleries of Scotland. At the gallery you’ll see paintings by masters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Titian, Raphael, and many others. A lovely walk round old town of Edinburgh. The lady who took us on the walk, Alison, knew alot of history and was very friendly, 3 hours was unfortunately not enough time to enjoy all. if i come visit Edinburgh again i would definitely think about booking again. The only down side was that it was raining and cold but that didn't stop us.

My adult sons and I did the tour with Mr Usher senior, it was a very good tour to orientate us to Edinburgh and he was very informative and well spoken. We had a lovely rest for a cuppa very good spot ( went back for scones the next day) He gave some recommendations of things to do and we did them. My sons thoroughly enjoyed the camera obscure illusion on the mile in old town the next day.

Die Shopping-Tipps waren ebenfalls prima, 100% made in Scotland garantiert!
