We loved it!! We’ve done previous tours but the terror tour out beat them. It’s so informative, engaging and i few little jumps along the way. We couldn’t fault it from start to finish, great value for money. Darren our tour guide was brilliant, he knows his stuff, has good humour and made it interesting the whole time.

My boyfriend and I went on the Late Night Underground Vaults Terror Tour last night and couldn't recommend it enough. We were lucky to have Patrice as our guide, she was engaging, funny, informative and friendly (she really made the experience). The tour offered a variety of experiences - the above ground tour/stories, the torture exhibition and the vaults themselves (which were very creepy). The 75 mins flew by and it was a fab addition to our Edinburgh holiday! Definitely worth the price and I would do it again with friends/family.

Excellent guided tour - both educational and eerie! Patrice, our tour guide, was very friendly, knowledgeable & theatrical, without being over the top. The whole tour felt very authentic. I really felt the atmosphere as we were told the stories of the vaults & I genuinely believed that I could see a ghost during the tour - we were told about a few which have been commonly sighted. The history of the South Bridge & vaults was very interesting & Patrice was an excellent story teller. We were a small group (probably due to Covid, as this is usually an extremely popular activity) & this added to the eerieness. None of Patrice's enthusiasm for the subject was lost due to having less people - her enjoyment of her job & respect for the history of the vaults was clear. The 10pm tour was excellent and just the right amount of time at 75 minutes. Patrice also encouraged questions at the end & was happy to share her experiences. Highly recommended, 5* experience!
