Discover an area off the beaten path on this full-day catamaran tour to the Cordillera Islands. Departing from Puerto Del Rey Marina in Fajardo, the 50-55 minute journey on the high-speed power catamaran will take you to the beautiful Cordillera Islands, off the coast of Fajardo. Upon arriving at the Cordillera Islands, the captain will decide which beach will have the best conditions for the day, usually Flamenco or Culebrita Beach are the preferred locations but Culebra has other beautiful options, all depending on water conditions. Spend the afternoon swimming, snorkeling, beachcombing, sunbathing, or relaxing on the roof deck. Throughout the day, the bar onboard the catamaran is open for all guests with Piña Coladas, Rum Punch, sodas, iced teas, and juices. A sumptuous lunch is served on board, including fresh fruit, cold cuts, fresh bread, salads, and chips.

Head out of Fajardo on a boat cruise to snorkel in Puerto Rico's aquamarine sea. Sit back and relax on your cruise as you feel the salty breeze on your skin. After your snorkeling adventure, tuck into a light lunch onboard before continuing your water journey to discover Icacos Island and its pristine beach. From the meeting point Marina Puerto Chico in Fajardo, start the day with a local pastry while receiving an overview of the itinerary for the day. Prepare yourself by protecting your skin from sun exposure and using the restrooms available in the marina. Once the group is ready, head on board. Feel the breeze and mist of the Caribbean waters while sailing towards your destination on Icacos Island, located around 4 nautical miles from the marina. Listen to music and see sites en route, with the El Yunque National Forest and the Fajardo Lighthouse being among the most eye-catching. At your first stop, embark on a guided snorkeling experience and explore the rich surrounding marine life. Go an adventure in El Yunque National Forest, the most visited attraction in Puerto Rico, with this guided hike from Fajardo. Meet your guide in Fajardo, then follow them in your own car to El Yunque National Forest. Upon arrival at the forest’s parking lot, receive your life vests and safety orientation, and leave anything in your car that you don’t want to get wet or dirty. Then, begin your hike into the heart of Puerto Rico’s sacred lands and forest. Listen to your guide’s commentary as you trek for about 25 minutes to the first pristine water pool. Once there, enjoy rope swings and cliff jumps from various heights, or simply take a dip in the water. Next, continue higher into the forest until you arrive at the second pool. There, go for a slide on pure volcanic rocks into the water. After enjoying the second pool, hike back down to the first and on toward the parking lot where the tour ends.

Spend a day in the sun with lunch and specialty drinks includes, taking you out on the clear waters of the Caribbean and along the Fajardo coastline aboard a catamaran. Set sail in the morning from Puerto del Rey Marina, the largest and best-kept marina in the Caribbean. On board the catamaran's deck you will enjoy beautiful views of the mountains in the El Yunque National Forest, as well as the beaches along the Fajardo coastline. After a comfortable sail of about 45 minutes, you will anchor at one of the small deserted islands and cays off the northeast coast of Puerto Rico. Normally it is the island of Icacos, but the captain will sometimes head to Cayo Lobo or Palominos if the conditions are better for the day. Once you arrive, step off into shallow water and spend the next 1.5 hours walking on the beach, beachcombing, and swimming in the crystal clear waters. When you have eaten your fill, the boat will head a short distance out and anchor over the reef for another 1 or 2 hours of swimming or relaxing. A leisurely sail back to Marina Puerto del Rey will bring you back to the dock, with plenty of time to enjoy your afternoon and evening in Fajardo.
