You will start your premium Golden Circle and south coast tour by driving along the beautiful Nesjavallaleid scenic route with your jeep. This road winds through mountains and volcano craters, offering great views of Thingavallavatn, Iceland’s largest natural lake. The first stop of the tour is the Thingvellir National Park, which is famous for being the site of the first parliament both in Iceland and the world. You will then continue to the famous Geysir hot spring area. Get your cameras ready and make sure you wear a raincoat, as you will have time to walk behind Seljalandsfoss, becoming drenched in the pristine cascading water. Following the waterfall, you will drive past Iceland’s most infamous volcano, Eyjafjallajokull, the volcano that froze air traffic in 2010 and made Iceland famous all over the world. Your next stop is Solheimajokull, a beautiful glacier tongue which is easy to walk to. Here you have a chance to walk close to the glacier and admire its blue, white, and black ice. It was so much fun. We got to ride through streams, valleys, the beach to and hills. The airplane sighting was so incredible and we stopped several times to take photos. Our guide was really informative and very engaging. The bikes were in great shape and all the accessories were as well. We would do it again!
