Spend the day in Montenegro in the towns of Kotor and Budva. With transfers from Dubrovnik.
What to Expect
You will begin your tour from Dubrovnik driving south along the Adriatic coast, passing the city of Cavtat and the Konavle region, before crossing the border into Montenegro (do not forget your passports).
You will then be driven alongside the Kotor bay.
Kotor is a rich town, well-known for its nautical tradition and long city walls that go up into the mountains. Here you will stop for a guided tour of the old city after which you have free time to explore further.
After Kotor, on your way towards Budva, you will take a break in order to admire the view of St. Stefan peninsula. The peninsula can be approached but unfortunately it is closed for visitors. Next: Budva.
Budva is a city surrounded by walls and beautiful long beaches. It is the center of tourism in Montenegro, and brings the expected commotion along with the flattering title. You will have a guided tour of the old city followed by free time for lunch, beach or both. On the way back you will take a different route and shorten the journey by taking a ferry across the Kotor Bay.
