What to Expect
From Dubrovnik enjoy a spectacular drive up to the mountains overlooking Cavtat and Adriatic sea heading towards city of Trebinje,. After approx. 45 minutes, stop in Trebinje to visit the local farmer market and taste some traditional cheeses, honey and more.
Next, drive to Tvrdos Monastery, where wines have been made by monks from 15th century. Here, enjoy a tasting of several world-class wines (and grapa) in the Monastery cellars. Continue a short drive to Vukoje winery, a state of the art facility, and visit the winery. Here you will also enjoy a tasting of several local wines of top quality like white Zilavka and Rose and red Vranac or aged Cab Suv. Maybe will have will start with local sparkler too! All is paired with local cheeses and parma hams, olives and much more.
Then, a 3-course lunch with wine will be served in a local restaurant famous for “Iron Bell” meat cooking. After that you start heading back to Dubrovnik taking more spectacular route going to Srdj Mountain.
