In Game of Thrones, a series of fantasy novels by George R.R. Martin, adapted from "A Song of Ice and Fire," Dubrovnik was used to represent the King’s Landing. Locations used in the show include: St. Dominic Street, Lokrum Island, the Rector's Palace and Sponza Palace, Fort Lovrijenac, Fort Bokar and the Minčeta Tower. The production also used the nearby Trsteno Arboretum. Join the Karaka ship that was used in the making of Game of Thrones on a cruise around delightful Dubrovnik.     Great fun

    The tour started on the galleon boat where we had a cocktail and then an option to dress up if we wanted (and we did). The ship ride was fantastic sailing into King’s Landing {Dubrovnik harbour - old city]. We then walked around the old city and were shown various parts of the city that had been used in the Game of Thrones series such as the steps of shame. We were able to sit on the Iron Throne and get a photo (included). The guide, Darko was fascinating. He shared a lot of information with us and was very engaging. If you’re not sure, walking the walls is not included but worth doing separately (2 hours roughly at a cost of 200kn each which was quite expensive for us Aussies once you throw in the audio at 100kn each. $130 Australian all up). I’d highly recommend this tour. It was great fun, interesting and the walk wasn’t taxing.

    Good but not fantabulous!

    Our guide was really very enthusiastic and informative and funnnnn..... cruise was a okay! They were in a rush for us to try the costumes and get out of them..... a beer or a glass of champagne would’ve been better than the sugary drink they served us..... but am glad for your site, it’s a one stop shop for all one may want to do anywhere in the world..., thank you!

    Would absolutely do it again!

    First and foremost, this service is super accommodating. I had booked two tickets a couple of weeks back for our trip to Dubrovnik. However, I was feeling very unwell on the day of our original ticket date and within minutes I was able to reschedule for the following day without paying any fees! Regarding the actual tour, it was so cool! Arriving on the ship was awesome and lasted about 45 minutes. Then when we docked we were given a tour of Old Town which not only showed all the spots where Game of Thrones was filmed but also provided a little bit of history about Croatia and Dubrovnik. We really lucked out too because we had the best guide as well! I am forgetting her name but she was local and she was super friendly and knowledgeable. I would love to do this again! I know there are other tours that are less expensive out there but this one is definitely worth the price!
