What People Are Saying About Dublin

It was an interesting and informative experience.

Pat Liddy is an enthusiastic and entertaining leader of a walk in Dublin. He has very clear diction and read the excerpts from writer's like a trained actor. He engaged the walkers in discussions in a relaxed and friendly way. His knowledge of Dublin is amazing. One small criticism you need to be very fit and have stamina to last the pace. The one and a half hour' duration was stretched to well over 2 hours.

very interesting and. professional, most informative and enjoyable

This was my first time taking part in these walks. I loved it all, I learned a lot, Pat had a lovely delivery, friendly, interesting and good houmered

Mr. Liddy certainly knows his stuff and boy does he deliver!

Meet Pat Liddy, Dubliner extraordinaire and purveyor of some really good historical - and humorous - walking tours. We joined his special literary walk during the Dublin Book Festival. It was brilliant! If you like the real thing, history and snarky jokes, he's your man to get to know a little bit more about Dublin and the illustrious literary citizens (and denizens) that graced the city with their presence... Yeats, Becket, Wilde, Stoker, Le Fanu, Joyce... the list goes on and on.

Unique opportunity for exploring Dublin's secrets

We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon with Pat. He'd thoughtfully researched so many obscure connections to Dublin's literary heroes.

Very interesting but a bit light on the literary side

Very interesting but a bit light on the literary side in that it was billed as such. In saying that, it was a most interesting and informative tour. Pat knows his Dublin inside out and it was all the little incidentals and social titbits that made it so enjoyable
