Learn the story of John Jameson and his adventures in whiskey making on a guided tour of the Jameson Whiskey Distillery. Since his brave first steps into the brewery building in 1780, the Jameson brand has been focused on its founder's ambition to create unforgettable experiences. The new look Jameson Distillery Bow Street in Smithfield, Dublin features 3 fully guided experiences. One of the Bow Street location and its facilities, a second one about those who make whiskey, and a third about those who shake whiskey. All are fully immersive and fun! Get an invite to touch, smell, interact and taste Jameson whiskey in the original Bow Street Distillery buildings. Visit the live maturation warehouse and get to taste some Jameson straight from the barrel. Then, enjoy a drink or two at the JJ Bar and raise a glass to life!

My partner and I had the best day at the Jameson Bow Street tour earlier this week. The tour was really informative and well organized. We had the lovely Emily as our tour guide and she made the experience really enjoyable. She had a fantastic presence and was both welcoming and entertaining. She kept the tour light hearted and was great Craic. The free drink was a lovely touch and very enjoyable. The service was second to none from all staff and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the tour to family and friends. It’s fantastic value for money at €25 and I look forward to returning and taking part in a cocktail making class soon. Emma

We absolutely loved this tour! It was interactive, engaging, and very informative. The tour and tasting were well thought out and exceeded our expectations. We loved the stories and will absolutely do it again. A lot of pride from the folks who Jameson employs. Everyone seemed very passionate about their job and happy to answer any questions that we had. Highly recommend!

Don’t really take a tour. The host plays tapes. But the presentations are very informative. Also have an interactive demonstration with the different ingredients that go into the Whiskey. Second part is a tasting. This is truly a tasting experience. The host walks you through tasting 3 whiskeys. (similar to wine tasting). Lastly your ticket entitles you to a full splash of Whiskey in the bar area. You can have it straight up, on the rocks or mixed with ginger ale.
