Full description
Set off on board a luxury, air-conditioned motor-coach and watch Dublin's urban cityscape give way to the rolling, green hills of the Irish countryside. This full-day trip will drive through several areas of interest, including the Galtee Mountains and the Curragh in County Kildare, which is home to Ireland's National Stud Farm. First, arrive at Blarney Castle which is known around the world for its famous Blarney Stone. Kiss the stone and receive the “gift of the gab." Be sure to explore the rest of Blarney Castle as well as its lush grounds and woodland walks. Discover the scenic Rock Close by taking the Wishing Steps.  Depart Cork and arrive at one of Ireland’s 7 Wonders, the Rock of Cashel in County Tipperary. Explore the Hall of Vicars, Cormack’s Chapel, the Celtic Cathedral, the Round Tower, and the surrounding grounds filled with ancient high crosses. In addition, admire one of Ireland’s oldest Romanesque wall paintings inside this world-famous historical landmark. Afterwards, be returned to Dublin city center to complete your tour. For your final stop of the day, visit one of Ireland's largest and best-preserved castles, Cahir Castle. The Castle was built in the 13th century, to house the Butler family. It was great, not in a hurry, a lot of information about Irland received on the bus from our driver Harry. Good jokes and songs! Beside that the weather was just fine: plenty of sun but not too hot so we can not enjoy spending time outside. I had a cracking day

Great way to get the most enjoyable experience out of a short trip! Family friendly (we were 2 adults, 3 kids -5,11,16). Barry was very informative, allowed us ample time at each location including photo ops. We even had time to dine in for lunch. Lots of space on the bus as they did not book to full capacity due to covid restrictions. Locations visited were beautiful sights, able to walk the grounds and discover it for ourselves. Although the last castle visited, we got a personal tour guide.

Our tour guide, Harry, was full of energy and throughout the trip he told us about Irish history, culture, sports, and general insights that allowed us to have a full and unique experience. The irish songs that were played were nice and there was even a sing along part. His jokes were as good as his driving, even though he is humble and says otherwise. We visited the Rock of Cashel, Blarney Castle and Gardens and Cahir Castle and we had one stop on each way to have a small break and eat some snacks. The Blarney Castle is very well preserved, has lots of information, and it's intuitive to follow the way until the stone. At the Cahir Castle we even had a tour guide to show us the place and tell us about its history. The only thing to point out is that this tour does not stop in Cork City. Thank you Harry, it was an amazing trip. We highly recommend.
