This price includes a guided tour of Belfast City, including a visit to The Belfast Peace Wall (one of Ireland's 7 Wonders), the Republican Museum, St. Patricks Grave and Exhibition Centre at Downpatrick, Dundrum Castle and The Mourne Mountains.
What to Expect
Dublin has a lot to offer, but if you feel you have "been there, done that," why not hop aboard and take a trip to historical Belfast, which is just 2 hours up the road?
See one of Irelands "7 Wonders" - The Belfast Peace Wall. In addition you will see the amazing countryside that Northern Ireland has to offer and you will stop at various sites of historic significance on this amazing Belfast tour from Dublin.
After a short coffee break along the way, your first stop is Belfast City. Enjoy a political/historical guided tour of the city, visiting some of the political hotspots as well as the Republican Museum, with a large collection of artifacts and prison handicrafts, representing various phases of the struggle for Irish Freedom.
Thereafter you will have some free time to explore the city and have some lunch, and maybe change some money to Pound Stirling as you are now in the United Kingdom!
Then visit the Belfast dockyards, the birthplace of the Titanic, before we continue the rest of our northern adventure!
Visit Downpatrick and the grave of St Patrick. Here you will be shown the amazing cathedral and exhibition centre. Then head to the Norman castle at Dundrum before making a stop to take in the spectacular views of the Mourne mountains.
Make one last stop at Ross’ monument, which is dedicated to Major General Robert Ross, the man who burned down the White House. On the way back down the motorway you can reminisce about your day’s adventure to Northern Ireland while listening to some traditional music along the way - what a jam-packed day - phew!
