What to Expect
Discover the new and old life of Dubai with a morning sightseeing tour of the city center. Then, go on an afternoon desert safari, ending with a barbecue dinner at a desert camp.
Following a pick-up from your hotel, transfer to Dubai Museum in Al Fahidi Fort, Dubai’s oldest monument. Get a glimpse of Bedouin history, before you cross Dubai Creek by traditional water taxi (abra). Upon arrival on the other side of the creek, walk through the spice and gold souks. Enjoy some free time do your own shopping.
Cross to Dubai’s newer developments, stopping to take photos of Jumeirah Mosque from the outside. Drive through Jumeirah city, admiring the luxury houses along the way. Marvel at the sail-like, 7-star Burj Al Arab Hotel, before going back to your hotel.
After a break for lunch, depart Dubai for the shifting sands on its outskirts. Cross the desert dunes by jeep on a 5-hour trip to an area ideal for dune bashing as the sun sets. Continue to a desert camp for a barbecue dinner in a traditional Bedouin tent. Enjoy live shows and other camp activities under the stars.
