Day Trips from Dubai to Yas Island

This was a lovely trip. Our guide, Naveed, was wonderful: friendly, warm, good sense of humour, encouraging and informative. The fire show was really mesmerising. Sleeping over in the tent was quite special... but, unfortunately, I would recommend against it. The inside of the tent is just beautiful. Very rustic and visually rich interior. It was, however, difficult to sleep through the night for two reasons. First, it was quite cold throughout the night, so bring very warm layers. Second, it was very noisy as our neighbours were very loud tourists. Some of the staff were also speaking rather loudly as they passed our tent. I would recommend in the future that the camp organisers spread out the guests so that their tents are not right next to each other while they sleep, if it's possible. I'd also recommend that the staff are quite around the tents after 10pm. Since we had to wake up at 6am for sunrise camel rides, 10pm seems like a fair curfew for "quiet time".
