The activity will start in Bayahibe, a charming fishing village and port, the starting point of all the tours to Saona Island. This is where the transfer buses will arrive, and all the participants will gather and get ready to embark on the sailing catamaran using a shuttle boat. Here, on the beach, you'll meet your guide, who will provide you with all the information you need to make the most of this wonderful experience. He'll also give you instructions for boarding, and off you go! Once everyone's on board, the magic begins as the sails rise to navigate towards the island of Saona and its heavenly beaches. The catamaran will first follow the coastline, offering a breathtaking view of the delightful landscapes of Cotubanama National Park, a preserved natural area of outstanding beauty. As you sail through the Caribbean waters, you can enjoy local rum and listen to typical music such as Merengue or Bachata, all while admiring the breathtaking colors of the water and sky. Take advantage of these relaxing moments to recharge your batteries! After about 1 hour and 45 minutes of relaxation aboard the catamaran, you'll finally arrive at Saona Island. Shuttle buses will pick you up and drop you off on a magnificent beach lined with white sand and coconut palms. If you were wondering whether paradise really exists, you'll find out here! The guide will show you the location of the bar (with open-access drinks), the toilets, the buffet, as well as the deckchairs and hammocks you can use as you please. Then it's time to make the most of the two and a half hours you'll have at your disposal on this wonderful island. Here, a sandbar allows you to enjoy the shallow, translucent waters. You'll be invited to step off the boat via a small ladder to take a dip while admiring the giant starfish. Then it's time to re-board the boat and return to the port of Bayahibe, where your transport will be waiting to take you back to your hotel. Cruise to Cotubanama National Park and South Saona with this tour with options to leave from Bayahibe Village, Dominicus, Punta Cana, Bavaro, Uvero Alto, Juan Dolio, and Boca Chica areas. Select the group or private option. Stop at Cotubanama National Park and navigate in front of El Penon where the English-speaking guide will give you some information about the history of this cliff and the indigenous Tainos, the first inhabitants of the island. Sail on to see the mangroves. Glide over to the sea to Saona Island to see the charming fishing village of Mano Juan. Walk through the colorful houses and shops in the village before going to the turtle nursery. Learn about the turtles, and see hatchings if they have left their shell. Have an authentic Dominican meal in a restaurant with a splendid view of Saona beach. After lunch, leave for Canto de La Playa for two hours of relaxing and snorkeling. Finish, at a natural pool to see huge starfishes, swim, and sip rum.

Experience a great day at Catalina Island, snorkeling in various spots and hitting the beach. Begin by stopping at ''the Wall," a snorkeling spot that is about 30 feet deep and is host to a variety of colorful fish. Next, stop at another snorkeling spot, ''the Aquarium'', which is about 4 meters deep. For more fun, take advantage of an opportunity to jump from the boat. Finally, eat lunch on Catalina beach, where you will have about two and a half hours to relax, lounge, swim, and snorkel some more. Later, get back to the boat and continue on to the Chavon River, a unique a tranquil place where scenes from "Anaconda" and several other movies were shot. To return, cruise on the boat along the coast and enjoy a beautiful view of the mansions and villas before arriving back in Bayahibe.

Ride across huge sugar cane fields, learn about the sugar industry and even taste some sugar cane. Come across a small village called Batey, where the sugar cane workers live. Go for a swim in the river before discovering a plantation of various tropical species. You'll visit a traditional home to taste local products, such as manioc and plantains. A transport will be waiting for you at the taxi stand, located at the exit of the cruise terminal, where all passengers from your cruise will gather. The driver will drive you to our office in Bayahibe, the starting point of the adventure. Join us in Bayahibe for an adventure aboard our awaiting boat, perfect for families. Get ready for an intimate journey to Saona Island! We'll start by exploring Penon, where our guide will delve into its history and the Taino people. Then, we'll navigate through mangroves, passing by thriving Palétuvier trees. Upon arrival at Saona Island, we'll visit Mano Juan village, observing local life amidst colorful houses and quaint shops. A stop at a turtle nursery managed by locals offers insight into their conservation efforts, although seeing newborns isn't guaranteed due to seasonal changes. Lunchtime offers a taste of Dominican cuisine with breathtaking views of Saona Beach. During lobster season (July 1st - February 29th), it's available for $25 per person. Later, we'll head to Canto de la Playa, a pristine beach perfect for relaxation or snorkeling. Our last stop is a natural pool inhabited by large starfish (please refrain from touching). Guests can take a dip in the shallow waters while enjoying refreshing drinks, concluding the journey with unforgettable memories upon returning to Bayahibe port. The tour will conclude in Bayahibe, where your transport awaits to take you back to the La Romana port.

We will start with the pick up from all the hotels in the Bayahibe and Dominicus area such as Playa Viva Dominicus, Iberostar Hacienda Dominicus, Dreams La Romana, Catalonia Gran Dominicus, Dreams Dominicus and Bahia Principe La Romana, we will board a quaint and friendly Bus and head to the meeting point, it is a beautiful ranch that is the base for the buggies and 4 wheels, once at the beautiful ranch the guides will explain the route and the safety measures and the protective equipment will be replaced. After having this brief information presentation, we will take the exciting 4 wheels and buggies to start the adventure along the national highway, the sugar cane fields, we will arrive at a particular small town called bateyes where the sugar cane cutters live, these towns are called bateyes, we will see schools, churches and we will even learn a lot about sugar cane with the natural flavor of this giant herb, we will learn how to cut it and appreciate it.

Looking to take advantage of the best diving in the Dominican Republic and dive on the Caribbean Side without going for a full day? Look no further as this is the best half day 2 tank dive charter for your private dive group. We will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to the Carribean Sea Side (note most hotels are on The Atlantic Coast where the conditions are not ideal). Conditions on the Caribbean Sea generally are much calmer and the water is clearer making for great dive conditions. Once you arrive on the other side, you will board your Private Boat and have the opportunity to dive the best dive sites in the Dominican Republic. If you are already on the Caribbean Sea Side (ie: in Bayahibe or the surrounding area) then your transfer time will be much shorter. Your dive sites will be chosen according to your preferences, certification level and sea conditions for the day. This is a half day tour. Total bottom time will be decided by your air consumption and safe no decompression diving limits. You can expect longer bottom times then when sharing a boat with less experienced divers.
