    2. Tsavo East & Salt Lick Lodge Safari 2-Day Tour

    Experience a game drive through Kenya’s largest park with a chance to spot herds of Red Elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, gazelles, buffaloes, waterbucks, and impalas. There are also about 500 species of birds, including the ostrich, and migratory birds like kestrels and buzzards. Afterwards, proceed to Zomeni Lion Hill lodge for lunch. Kisite Marine national park is the second most famous marine park in the world, after the Australian Marine Park. Explore 30 kilometers of turtles, marine tortoise, bearreeffs, coral reefs and different types of marine fishes. Next, sail to Wasisni Island where your lunch of sea food and Swahili dishes will be served. After lunch, you’ll have the option to stroll around the island and experience the local Swahili culture, visiting the beautiful coral garden, mangrove forest and fishing village to learn more about the Swahili people and their history.     We spent our second-to-last day in Kenya on this excursion. Unlike our other excursions, this one had other groups on our dhow ride to Kisite. It’s about a 45 minute journey to Kisite. If you’re prone to seasickness, take your meds beforehand. Once there, some of us went snorkeling while others simply swam in the Indian Ocean. It was a relaxing 30 minutes. Afterwards, they took us to Wasini for a local lunch of fish, crab and rice. It was tasty. Note beverages are extra so bring shillings. If you’re looking for some r&r in the sea, I would recommend this excursion.

    4. Diani Beach: Kisite Marine Park Dhow & Snorkeling with Lunch

    You will be collected from your hotel in Diani Beach and drive to Shimoni, a small fishing village. On the way, pass by small villages, sugar cane plantations and fields of cassava.  In Shimoni you will board a traditional Arabian Dhow to cruise to the Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park. Be sure to look out for dolphins as you head out to sea. Tea, coffee, mineral water, soft drinks, biscuits, mandazis and pizza bread will be served on the dhow. You'll go snorkeling at two different sites. There will be plenty of photo opportunities, so bring your camera. If you have an underwater one, even better. Lunch will be served on Wasini Island at a private cliff-top restaurant. Admire the views and enjoy a delicious meal of fish and crab, followed by citronella tea or fresh Kenyan coffee. After lunch, relax for a while and then head back to the mainland to take a bus back to your hotel.

it was a wonderful day and everything was perfectly organized. the guids on the ship were so friendly and warm that they made my day easier with their presence. the snorkeling was breathtakingly beautiful !!! the food on the island was also very tasty and on the way back the guides sang for us. made my day i can only say with your zest for life and your singing you made an already perfect day even more perfect !!! i can recommend this excursion to everyone! it was definitely worth every cheap one i paid for! well done and thanks for a wonderful day!

This day tour was AMAZING!!! The beach was soooo beautiful, also, snorkeling(or you can do free diving) was such a incredible experience. It totally deserves spending 100USD for this tour.

The trip is interesting but be prepared for some time spent in a bus and on a boat.
