What People Are Saying About Deutsches Museum
This was a really informative, interesting tour that I went on with my 17yr old son from New Zealand. He also found it very interesting and well done. The tour guide, Eric, was excellent. He had an amazing knowledge base and was very good in his presentation of the information. It was a very moving experience. We were pleased to see this important memorial and recognise that it is important for people to remember the past so that history is never repeated. One thing I found very hard though were people taking smiling selfies in front of the gate sign "Work sets you free" and the other sculpture. Photos of the memorial are fine, but really having a photo taken smiling in front of a place of death and misery seems very inappropriate.
Our trip to Dachau was both emotional and informative. Our guide was perfect and made the entire experience easier. We felt that he was extremely knowledgeable and personable. Highly recommnded.
We had so much fun since the start to the end. Eric is really great guide, great person. He gave us so much information about everything around Dachau, second world war, and more. Such a lovely afternoon. Thank you again! Noemie and Klara
