  • Prague: Dancing House Gallery and Rooftop Entrance

    3. Prague: Dancing House Gallery and Rooftop Entrance

Visit the Nationale Nederlanden, also famously known as the Dancing House. This very noticeable building in the heart of Prague hosts an art gallery, a restaurant, and a bar with a rooftop terrace. What I liked about buying this ticket is that I got to see something I didn't't really come to Amsterdam for and so the access to the gallery was great. In addition, as a photographer, having guaranteed access to the rooftop was also lovely. I don't think I needed the ticket per-se but since I was discovering the city, having a booking made it less stressful. I did end up having lunch at Ginger & Fred by the time I left. Overall it was a good experience and worth it if you plan on taking some photos up top.

A fantastic way to see this very scenic city as a sole lady traveller, or indeed with a group. The organisers were very friendly, helpful and personable especially the blond young chap whose name evades me. I liked that you were not forced to leave the bus at any particular spot, but given information if you did and one had full autonomy, as to whether they wanted to get off and explore further. Thanks I’ll be back!
