Snorkel the deep blue waters of the Red Sea’s legendary Blue Hole on a 6-hour adventure tour from Dahab to the Gulf of Aqaba, and swim around the coral gardens of one of the world’s most challenging dive sites looking for colorful fish and coral.
What to Expect
Explore the notorious dive site of the Blue Hole on the Gulf of Aqaba on a full-day snorkel tour from Dahab. Located approximately 6.5 miles (11 kilometers) from the city, the Blue Hole is one of the most challenging dive sites in the world, and the easiest Red Sea snorkel site within reach of Dahab.
Transfer from Dahab by Jeep at 10:00 for the 30-minute drive to the famous submarine sinkhole. Following a safety briefing at one of the Bedouin style restaurants, start your first 1-hour snorkel among the beautful corals of the deep blue pool.
Return to the restaurant for lunch and drinks. Then, stroll over to the Bells, a small natural hole with a sheer 2,600-foot (800-meter) drop. Down below are manta rays and sharks, but the corals closer to the surface attract many colorful fish.
Swim and snorkel back along the coast back to the Blue Hole, where you are free to continue your snorkeling adventure. Alternatively, relax at the restaurant before your transfer back to Dahab for approximately 16:00.
