Expolore the ancient city of Petra on a 2-day tour from Dahab. You'll sail from Taba to Aqaba, drive to Petra, where you'll have the Guided tour and lunch.
What to Expect
Literally carved directly into vibrant red, white, pink, and sandstone cliff faces, the prehistoric Jordanian city of Petra was "lost" to the Western world for hundreds of years.
Located amid rugged desert canyons and mountains in what is now the southwestern corner of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Petra was once a thriving trading center and the capital of the Nabataean empire between 400 B.C. and A.D. 106.
In 1985, the Petra Archaeological Park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site, and in 2007 it was named one of the new seven wonders of the world.
At 05:00 we will leave Dahab and around 07:00 we will arrive to Taba Heights. Here we will take a boat in order to reach Aqaba. Around 08:15 we will arrive to Aqaba Tala Bay Marina and we will be driving to Petra. At 10:30 we will arrive in Petra and that is when the guided tour will begin.
In the afternoon, around 15:30, we will be going back to the main entrance for a lunch in a 5 star hotel. The accommodation is included in a 3 star hotel.
After Breakfast out from your hotel you will enjoy some free time in Petra, then you will have lunch and start getting ready to drive back to Aqaba. So we will take the boat again. The tour ends once arrived in Taba Heights around 20:30.
