Visit My Son, one of the most important sites of the ancient Champa Kingdom, on a 4-hour tour from Da Nang. Situated in a valley surrounded by high mountains, the World Heritage Site is one of the most stunning sights in central Vietnam. Choose from a shared or private tour. During the excavation of the site, letters were found revealing that the complex had been a site of Hindu worship since the 4th century. In the 7th century, the temples that had been destroyed by fire were restored with locally made bricks. Hear about 70 similar temples built in the period up to the 13th century, establishing My Son as a sanctuary of Hinduism. Enjoy a walking tour around the sanctuary to see the many temples and towers.

We were picked up on time, but went to grab one more party where we were waiting for 30 minutes. No issues on the drive there and back. Our guide was very knowledgeable on the history of My Son and had a lot to say about the ruins and the old kingdom. However, this led to us having little free time for us to explore on our own. We pretty much stayed only at the first site of ruins.

We had the morning tour and cause of the temperature is was just right. Our guild was nice and has told as a lot about everything. You could ask him anything. Our driver took our live seriously ;) A half day trip was plenty of time. We could watch the dance and the musician from Vietnam and than went on. My son isn't that awesome. Only if you have spar time I would take the trip

Nice trip with a friendly guide. He explained a lot in terms of the history and the whole area. Overall a good trip, but not worth 5 stars. The driver was a little bit confused. He took more than once the wrong route so that we lost more than 45min for this tour. Beside that he tried some really risky overtaking manoeuvres......
