Begin your safari to Akamas National Park with a pickup from select hotels in Paphos or Limassol. Drive to the northwest part of the island and enter the park for a day exploring natural landscapes. During your trip have unparalleled swimming opportunities (May through November only) and hiking possibilities. See a vast array of wildflowers and impressive wave-cut rock formations with natural archways. Stop by the "sacred sands" of Lara, the site of a world-famous conservation project, and view giant limestone gorges. Walk through the Akamas Forest with its dense stands of pine and juniper and volcanic peaks.
