St Paul's Bay: Blue Lagoon, Beaches & Bays Trip by Catamaran
- Duration options: 5 - 6 hours
per group up to 38
After boarding the catamaran, the first stop will be the Blue Lagoon. The boat will drop anchor away from the crowds, so you can experience the famous turquoise water in peace. During this stop, you can enjoy an optional barbecue. The stops after the Blue Lagoon will depend on the weather. It might be possible to head to the Crystal Lagoon, surrounded by steep dramatic cliffs. Its crystal clear waters are much deeper than the Blue Lagoon, making the area fantastic for snorkeling and swimming in and around the caves. If there is an easterly wind, it’s likely that you’ll visit Ghajn Tuffieha. This is a beautiful rural area, home to a chain of pristine sandy beaches called Golden Bay, Riviera Beach, and Gnejna Bay.
On the way back from Ghajn Tuffieha, an additional stop will be made to discover the film set of Popeye’s Village, tucked away in a charming bay. Other stops ...
If anyone going Malta would definitely recommend sunset worth every penny...Great experience
After boarding your modern and stable catamaran, your journey to Comino Island will take approximately one hour. From the open sea, you will experience Malta from a beautiful vantage point. You will cruise close to the coast, witnessing Malta’s magnificent naturally-formed coastline, including its enormous cliffs, rocky nooks, and crannies. You will soon pass the tiny Island of St. Paul’s, viewing the statue of the apostle Saint Paul which rises high into the sky. You will aso visit magnificent sea caves, which will allow you the opportunity to take amazing photographs. You will soon stop for one hour at the stunning but lesser-known Crystal Lagoon (June-October in fair weather conditions only). It is fringed by steep cliffs and therefore accessed only by boats. With unbelievably clear water, it is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and diving. You can take a plunge into its crystal clea...
It was a pleasant day. The blue lagoon is amazing. We spent 4 hours there and we had enough time to enjoy it. I recommend it!

Enjoy the incredible views of Malta from the open sea and cruise close to the shore to check out the island's magnificent coastline and enormous rugged cliffs. Pass the tiny St. Paul’s Island and catch sight of the statue of the apostle Saint Paul that rises high into the sky. Stop to view the island's alluring sea caves and photos before getting underway again. Arrive at the famous Blue Lagoon, where the crisp turquoise waters are clearer than a swimming pool, making it a must-see stop on a hot summers day. Then it's anchors away, as you head to the island of Gozo. Upon arrival on Gozo Island, enjoy three hours of free time to fill as you wish, or opt to purchase a land-transport ticket for a small added charge. The land transport will take you to one of two fabulous locations where you will ...
Boat trip was great, spectacular coastline and two excellent locations to swim in the sea (blue lagoon and another, quieter bay further along the island) Gozo 'sightseeing' trip was a bit of a misnomer - for an additional €5 we were taken to Gozo Town in a minivan, where the surly driver informed us we had to be back at the pick up point for 16:30. This gave us enough time to find the citadel and have a wandering around (which was very good) before heading back to the minivan. I'm pretty sure a couple of folk were left behind because they didn't get back in time. Then off to the blue lagoon to have an hour before heading back to Bugibba.

new stylish boat (katamaran) with lots of sunbeds and seats (sun and shadow). friendly crew, nice drinks and cocktails for a fair price. BBQ (optional) was tasty & freshly prepared on board and a nice option after swimming.
A great and worthwhile excursion. Unfortunately the weather wasn't perfect. The places we drove to were great for swimming and snorkeling. The return trip was characterized by waves, which I thought was great.
Very enjoyable trip! Places we stopped for swimming and snorkelling were lovely. Plenty of fish to look at underwater! :) Friendly staff and a nice new boat - clean and comfortable.
Great tour!! Takes you to all the well known swimming spots. Definitely get the add on barbecue as you will get very hungry.
Brilliant day out. Enough time in each spot and lovely BBQ. Make sure you get there early to get a good spot.
