Join a journey through time as you explore the ancient ruins of Knossos Palace and the bustling city of Heraklion. Early in the morning, you visit Knossos Palace, the most You’ll-known landmark on the island of Crete and one of Greece's most spectacular archaeological sites. With your guide, explore the archaeological site and discover more about its intriguing and enigmatic past. Our next stop is to the village of Patsides to see the Minoan Farm, where you can sample their Cretan traditional products and roam through their land that is completely covered with Cretan plants. Later, you return to the city for a stroll through Heraklion's historic center with a live English speaking tour guide. Then, you will have free time in the capital of Crete to browse its contemporary shops, have lunch or a coffee in one of its many restaurants, or explore its magnificent medieval structures. If you'd like, you may also buy a ticket and visit the archaeological museum.

The transport was great! Nothing to complain about. We were picked up on time and brought home neatly. A big downside was that we had very little free time during the entire tour. It was a lot of listening, listening and even more listening. In the end we only had an hour to ourselves in Heraklion. Also keep in mind that it can be very hot. I personally do not recommend booking this tour on very hot days. There is no room to cool down and little shade. It was certainly a cheap option to see some things, but we actually only wanted the bus trip. We also would have liked it better if we were left a bit more free. Everything was explained in 3 languages. Plenty of choice in terms of languages. You also got a "wisper". Through this earpiece you could hear the explanation well during the tour. That was nicely arranged. You were also allowed to leave things in the bus.
