What people are saying about Crete

Really great full day trip to Samaria Gorge! Very well organized, our guide Thomas explained everything in great detail, very competend and helpful guide! The early morning pick up at the hotel was on time and we were among the first to enter the gorge and start the hike. The hike is individual, not in the group, so you can walk your own pace and take time for breaks whenever you like. After an approx. 5h hike (this is without taking longer breaks!), we arrived in Agia Roumeli at around 13:00 and had plenty of time to walk around, relax at the beach, swim and have something to eat at a local Taverna. The ferry back is at 17:30 and we arrived back in Chania by bus at around 20:15. All in all a really great day, so I highly recommend this tour!

Really fantastic. I’m such a sceptic when something suggests I wear walking boots. And as I’d forgotten mine, I just wore some decent trainers. Which were fine, however stomping down hill over so many rocks really does take a toll on your soles. So, if you’ve got boots, wear them. Anyway, the scenery was absolutely amazing. The toughest part of the trail was in shade with some amazing views. The last part you walk out into the sun, then it’s the home straight to the beach. Loved it.

The island is incredibly beautiful! It's definitely worth it to walk to the beach on the other part of the island to get a view of the Crete island and the turquoise water. But the boat trip wasn't that great. We were there at 10 am and left at 11:15. The crew waited for anyone who wanted to join. Considering the Coronavirus regulations, you could say the ship was overcrowded.

Tour to Elafonisi was amazing - enjoyed stay at the beach even more as it was not too crowded. 4 hours at the beach seem long but actually you would like to stay longer. The tour guide (Simona) provider a lot interesting insights about Crete. We had lunch at traditional Cretan restaurant specialized in meat (unfortunately not many seafood options).

it was fun! the bus was on time, instructions were clear, going there was easy and you're comfortable . but the information about the islands were not there . at least to get some good info because on the boat there were a lot of people and the vol was so low i couldnt hear what the guide was saying
