Full description
Departing from the southwest side of the island, this Cozumel shore excursion gets you to the reef in no time as you discover an underwater world of reefs, sea life, and colorful tropical fish, all surrounded by the stunning, turquoise, crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. Your friendly professional crew will take care of you every step of the way, no matter if you are an expert snorkeler or trying it for the first time. All equipment and safety gear will be provided, allowing you to enjoy your snorkeling with absolute comfort and certainty. Your captain will look for the very best spots based on the day's weather and water conditions. Typically, three stops will be made at some of the many stunning reefs that dot the coast. If you’re not a confident swimmer, you can view the beauty of the underwater world through the glass-bottom panel that lets you see the world beneath the boat. The viewing area has seats around it allowing you to sit and take turns looking down through the two windows in the hull. In addition to the three reefs, a stop at a sandy beach is included in your excursion. Once the snorkeling is over, refreshments such as ice-cold purified water, soda, and local beer will be served along with seasonal fruit while you enjoy the magnificent views of the beautiful coastline.

The actual snorkeling was fantastic and the boat captain and guide were fantastic and did a wonderful job. The excursion was ruined when we got back to the dock and a guy is standing there telling me that another $36 per person was due because of the fee for the reef. He that it explained all of that in the email. Well I happened to have the email printed and pulled it out and let him read it. He called someone who said that is what I owed. This person claimed he owned the boat that we went and I needed to pay him but he was simply the driver of the car for the others in our excursion. Seems odd he drives a taxi and also owns the boat but maybe. No were in any email or documentation was anything mentioned that there would be an additional fee. I have been on many excursions over the years and never had an additional fee due after booking. After things got heated he finally got in the car and drove away. In my estimation he was a con artist and everyone was in on it.
