What to Expect
Park up and enjoy a leisurely stroll through the Budock Vean Hotel’s award winning gardens, before enjoying a one and half hour cruise along Port Navas Creek, the Helford River and Daphne du Maurier’s inspiration Frenchman’s Creek.
The cruises are in a beautiful blue 19 foot Cygnus, called the ‘Hannah Molly’, which has been named after hotel owner, Martin Barlow’s daughters.
The boat only seats up to twelve people and has comfy cushions making it a really bespoke and comfortable experience. Amply free parking, great hotel facilities and a relaxed stroll through lovely gardens, you really feel like you are spoiling yourself. The hour and half cruises take you along the Helford River past Trebah and Glendurgan Gardens and up Daphne du Maurier’s inspiration Frenchman’s Creek.
Seeing the Helford River and its delights is certainly best explored on the water!

Know Before You Go
There can be a breeze on the water and so bring a jumper and jacket to keep warm. If you find you are too hot you can always take a layer off!
