What to Expect
Corinth is one of ancient Greece’s most famous cities, steeped in mythology and history. There is evidence that the region was already inhabited as early as 5,000B.C.

See the Canal of Corinth, built between 1874 and 1893, which separates the Peloponnese Peninsula from mainland Greece. More than eleven thousand ships glide through the picturesque canal each year.

We will visit the Agora of Corinth, meeting place of the old city. In ancient Greece, citizens would congregate here to hear speeches from the council, or public addresses.

It was here that the Apostle Paul would come to preach. Later, it also became a market place where merchants sold their wares.

Next, we will see the ruins of the beautiful temple of Apollo, completed in 540 B.C. One of the oldest stone temples in Greece, it was built using a classic Doric architecture and is a very impressive site.

Celebrate Dionysus, god of harvest and winemaking, when you visit the famous Nemea wineries.

Winemaking has been a huge part of Greek culture since 4000 BC. Taste Greek tradition and craftsmanship whilst you sip on wine in an authentic underground cellar.
