I was not “blank” in terms of knowledge about medieval European and Jewish history, yet I learned a lot of new facts and perspectives thanks to Joaquin, our wonderful guide. His calm yet persuasive manner of speaking enriched you with facts and activated your imagination. 2.5 hours passed in a blink of an eye and I would gladly keep listening. I really enjoyed the tour and felt the true magic and mysticism of Cordoba. The tour is smth that will make a difference to the whole trip so do not hesitate to join it.

Joaquin was our guide. He was excellent. He had historical knowledge, gave great in-depth explanations and an excellent command of the English language. Thoroughly enjoyed learning from him. However, the tour company put 40 people in our tour, which was too many. Our large group had to negotiate narrow streets and crowded courtyards which made asking questions with our guide and picture taking difficult.

A fascinating place - a combination of culture, history and religion

The most fantastic place I have ever seen. So much culture, architecture, history and religion in one place. And we had a wonderful guide (unfortunately I can’t remember his name but he studies art history at the university. I think is name is Johacin). He was so knowledgeable and spoke English well. This tour can be highly recommended.
