Overall rating

(10 reviews)

We are a family of 4 with 2 very young children (6 & 3 yrs). We are just back from the 8 day tour of Cairo, Aswan & Luxor with the Nile river cruise. We had an enjoyable trip. Special mention to Amr (Cairo Pyramids guide), Ahmed (Abu Simbel guide) & Menl (West/East bank Luxor guide). They were brilliant and very interesting facts were shared about these places! We however felt the tour guides to Philae, Kum Ombo & Edfu were pretty basic. Overall it was a great experience with Nice Tours and we felt the Nile river cruise was truly relaxing. The staff onboard the “queen of sheba” cruise was very friendly and helpful and food was great (we are vegetarians & surprisingly we had loads of options!!). We started off with Cairo and had a few hiccups/ last minute cancellation of certain activities etc, but Zeinab was simply superb in reassuring us at every stage and sorting things out for us by providing us round the clock support. Would highly recommend Nice Tours and special thanks to Zeinab.

To start off, have low expectations and you will be pleasantly surprised. In fact super satisfied with the tour. I must also say Zeinab was responsive during the trip and was always there to help. Expect to pay 2-5 usd per day per person. So far the guides and drivers did not ask me for any tips but I gave nevertheless. Just remember that’s their way of life in Egypt so respect it. Also, the hotel I stayed was Habu Puramid view. Though it looked newly renovated it has its issues like spoiled window that could not lock and drainage issues when flushing the toilet and bathing. Regardless the hotel staff were super nice and we felt safe as girls even though the window issue was not solved. Day 1 Ou driver Ahmed Capo was super nice. He waited for us patiently at the airport for 2h. Got us water, snacks and even treat us coffee while he had his small smoke break. A slightly more quiet guy and he wasn’t pushy when we rejected his ideas on going to some schools for papyrus. Day 2 and 3

The guide, Nour, was excellent and incredibly well mannered and has much knowledge. The pickup was flexible and uncomplicated. I enjoyed it sooo much, it was definitely an experience !

The guide was absolutely wonderful, he was 100% our highlight of the activity, couldn’t recommend more!

I really emjoyed the boat ride and Shireen was excellent guide.
