A very nice and informative museum about the history of Denmark and its society! There is lots of information from the ice until the modern age - it might be too much information for some people. Regarding the facilities of the museum, it's well organised, with option of leaving your personal belongings on a locker and your jacket in a wardrobe. There is an area for kids, clean toilets, and a very cozy and charming restaurant.

Beautiful museum with ancient and important objects of world renown. I’m thrilled I saw them in person! The Viking sorceress exhibit was incredible. I felt connected to those people and their religion of 1000+ years ago. By the way, the cafe is superb.

Amazing Völva Exhibit containing items used by Viking sorceresses 1,000+ years ago, plus other world famous items unique to Denmark. My favorites were the giant curving horns (lurs) and the sun chariot and helmets (all from Bronze Age, I believe). Even older items (eg 6000 years old) of our ancestors. Fantastic restaurant and gift shop and spacious building.
