We will start our day with a collection at your hotel in Cape Town, at approximately 09H50am. Collection will be in a sedan , SUV vehicle or a mini bus depending on the size of the group. We will head to our first stop on the tour, the Groot Constantia Vineyard. Groot Constantia is South Africa's oldest winery, it was established in 1685. Go behind the scenes and visit the cellar to get an in-depth look at how wine is made. Take part in a chocolate and wine tasting. Sample five selected wines, each one perfectly paired with a handcrafted chocolate. And before you leave for your next stop, visit the historical Cape Dutch homestead, and get a glimpse of what life on this wine farm was like in the 17th century. Travel from Groot Constantia to the Steenberg Farm, home to some of South Africa's finest award-winning wines. Enjoy your second wine tasting of the day and get to sample six of the estate's very best wines from their flagship range. The third and final stop on your winery adventure is a boutique wine estate located on the slopes below Constantia Nek with magnificent views of the surrounding wine region and False Bay. We'll pick you up at your hotel or at our designated pick up location in Cape Town between 08:30 and 09:00 AM. The ride will be in a sedan, SUV, or minibus, depending on how many of you are joining us. After picking you up, we'll head out on the N2 towards Tokara Wine Estate, our first stop for a delicious wine tasting. This award-winning winery is renowned for crafting some of the world's finest Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc grapes. After you finish your wine tasting experience, we'll head to the heart of Franschhoek – its town center. You can enjoy a tasty lunch and explore the area's shops. Franschhoek has something for everyone, from cozy cafes to art galleries, jewelry stores, leather shops, clothing boutiques, and even a chocolate paradise. This charming town is sure to delight your senses and satisfy your shopping cravings! Following the lunch break and your adventure in Franschhoek, the tour will proceed to the Franschhoek terminals for the second part of the wine tasting journey by tram. Your tour guide will distribute your tram tickets and provide instructions on how to navigate the tram's timetable. Typically, the tram takes around 8 minutes to travel between farms, allowing you to disembark at any farm of your choice from the provided list along the route. While you can visit up to two farms as part of the tram experience, if time allows, you may also opt for a third tasting. On the way back from exploring the Franschhoek Wine Tram , we can make a quick stop at a significant landmark: the prison where Nelson Mandela, a famous leader who fought for equality, spent some of his 27 years in prison. Right outside, you'll find a remarkable statue of Mandela with his fist raised high in the air. It's a powerful symbol of hope and strength! Your guide will share interesting facts about the prison and Mandela's time there. You'll learn why this place is so important to South Africa's history and the fight for freedom.

The fourth and final stop on your winery adventure is Eagle's Nest located in the heart of the Constantia Valley. Enjoy the last tasting of the day in a picturesque setting beside a stream under the canopy of oak trees. End your day admiring fantastic views as you make your way back to Cape Town with a drive along the side of Table Mountain.

It is recommended you start at 8:00 AM, as you will want to get the most out of your day. The guided tour begins with a stop to Bo-kaap (colourful houses) before heading to Maidens Cove. With views of the notorious Twelve Apostles Mountain range and pristine Camps Bay penthouses, you might be tempted to relocate to Cape Town. If that isn’t enough to enthrall you, wait until you see Chapmans Peak Drive, this has to be one of the best, if not, the best mountain drive in the world. From the lookouts, you’ll be able to view the unspoiled beach of Noordhoek, the Hout Bay Harbor, and the Seal colony. Continue your tour to the Cape of Good Hope, a National Park which is the most South Western point of the African continent. Not too far from the Cape of Good Hope, you’ll see the warm and cold ocean currents meet at Cape Point Lighthouse. The scenic drive leads you to Groot Constantia Wine Estate and Constantia Glen Wine Farm. Groot Constantia ( Oldest wine farm in South Africa), in Constantia wine valley, just outside the city of Cape Town, dates back to 1685. This is a perfect place for some wine tasting. The wine estate is known for its beautiful avenue of stone pines, and the beautiful surrounding mountain range. Constantia Glen Wine Farm also advises you on which wines are appropriate with food pairing. The estate offers decadent wine and cheese plater and cold meat pairing which is different from the usual wine and cheese combinations. If you consider yourself as a wine connoisseur, visiting these wine farms can be educational, indeed. Once your visit to these wine farms are finished, you will return back to your pick-up location. People who visit this estate always rave about their Cape Ruby, however there are other vintage Groot Constantia wines that will leave your palette dancing!
