What You'll Do
  • Explore the foothills around the towering Pikes Peak
  • Drive through the historic districts of Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs
  • Let your local cowboy guide delight you with stories of the Old West
  • Snap some pictures in the land that inspired "America the Beautiful"
Hop into a jeep and sail high into the clouds of the Pikes Peak foothills. Travel through historic areas, through old railroad tunnels, and experience the epic landscape that inspired the song "America the Beautiful."
What to Expect
Come on out and join your very own Cowboy Guide to explore the rugged and magical Pike's Peak Rock Mountain experience. Drive past Seven Falls, Helen Hunt Falls and into the foothills of the gargantuan Pikes Peak as we follow the old Shortline Railroad grade down through two tunnels to the Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs Historic Districts. You will drive 2,000 ft (610m) above Colorado Springs, giving you spectacular views all the way to Kansas. With majestic vistas like this, it's easy to see why "America the Beautiful" was written here.

After your drive, we'll stop at the Garden of the Gods, where you can hop out and explore these Martian-like red rocks. In the summer months, we'll even let you drive with the top off to get beautiful unobstructed views all around.

Head out and experience a jeep outing for a dramatic look at the natural beauty around Colorado Springs.
