From Madrid: Old Town Toledo Tour with Optional Zip-Line
- Duration: 7 hours
- Private group
Sol, the tour guide was in my opinion quite disorganized and was unable to sustain the attention and interests of the group. With limited time, she could have managed the tour better. At times we would be walking for long periods of time in extreme cold weather. We had to switch buses. She was knowledgeable but lacked people skills. I would prefer someone far pleasant and interesting. We were not able to visit the inside of churches except maybe for one so my goal to compare churches was not fulfilled.
El Escorial is a must see place. The arrangements were very good but the guide was in a mighty rush and was walking well ahead of the group, mostly talking to herself. A little more patience on her part would have left a much better impression on all in the group.
The tour was very well organised both morning at escorial and valley and afternoon at Toledo. Both tour guide were experienced. Only the lunch included was a bit too turistic but good quality.
The tour in Toledo was very short-1 hour walking tour and one hour into jewelry factory in Toledo. I did not pay money for commercial tour to jewelry store.
Tour guide is professional to introduce each scenic spots and history in detail. The experience is pretty good.
