Colonial Park Cemetery - Here we will talk about what life (and death!) was like during the victorian era in Savannah. Cathedral of St. John the Baptist - Here we will discuss the influence that the large Irish community has had on the city of Savannah. Green-Meldrim House - Here we will discuss the role the city of Savannah had during the American Civil War. Jones Street - Here we will walk along what is considered to be “the most beautiful street in America.” Monterey Square - At this square we will discuss the famous Mercer-Williams House and the role that General Pulaski played in the Revolutionary War. Forsyth Park - Here will will end our tour after viewing the famous Forsyth Park fountain.

This corridor is a wealth of monuments and landmarks that give visitors a chance to visualize Savannah's transformation from a scrappy colonial frontier town into a prosperous and ever more opulent antebellum cotton port.
