Our guide, Moon, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our group was small, 6 people including the guide, so we were able to go through the tour pretty quick while seeing everything. Our tour also started pretty early, about an hour earlier than others, but that made the difference in the crowd size. We went to a buffet for lunch that was mediocre.
Benefit from hotel pick-up from your hotel in Chiang Mai city center. Very varied trail. Difficulty level for me as a 77 year old just at the limit. Our guide was approachable and very knowledgeable. On the trail we were also accompanied by a resident Karen who pointed out snakes several times. Although not included in the tour, our guide also took us to Doi Inthanon.
Lots of fun and very well taught. We learned how to cook authentic Thai. The teacher was very knowledgeable and entertaining. beautiful location in nature. loved every part of it!
